Why is the color match not 100% accurate?

Color matching is a complex process affected by many factors, including ambient lighting, your phone's camera sensor, and the physical properties of the paint. Our app provides a very close scientific approximation to aid professionals. Always perform a small test spray before applying the paint to the final surface.

Does the app work offline?

Yes, all core functionalities of PaintGenius, including recipe calculation and saving, work completely offline. An internet connection is not required.

Where is my data stored?

All your data, including recipes and color libraries, is stored locally and privately on your device. We do not have access to your data.
